Bonnaroo Won’t Announce Future Dates, Ups Refunds to 100%

After a rain-soaked year flooded The Farm, forcing the cancelation of the final three days of the Tennessee festival, Bonnaroo is declining to announce future dates for the festival, bucking a tradition.
Historically, the festival has set the dates for the next year the week after the festival ends and even then it’s not much of a surprise, typically beginning the second Thursday in June. But organizers C3 Presents are holding off on setting dates for 2026.
“We want you to know that we’re still listening and actively discussing plans to improve The Farm that we all love so much. At this time, we will not be announcing future dates. When plans for the future take shape, you all will be the first to know,” the festival said in a statement.
In addition, the originally announced 75% refunds have been upped to 100% for all four-day passholders and those who bought one-day tickets for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
“Everyone who works on this show loves Bonnaroo deeply. Some of us have been here since the early years, some were fans first, and some are new but fell in love with it as soon as they felt your energy and spirit grace The Farm. This is the show we look forward to all year. This is the one that reenergizes us and restores our faith in community every single summer,” the statement continued. “Our main goal is to give you the most memorable weekend of your lives every year. This cancellation broke our hearts beyond measure, but we knew it had to happen for your safety. Thank you for your patience and perseverance through this difficult situation.”
This year, heavy rainfall moved in Friday, and early performances from acts like Mannequin Pussy, Slightly Stoopid and Ginger Root were canceled. The severe weather and flooding also forced attendees to evacuate the area and seek shelter at the recommendation of festival organizers. Bonnaroo posted a statement on social media and its website Friday evening informing fans that the National Weather Service forecasts “significant and steady precipitation that will produce deteriorating camping and egress conditions in the coming days” and canceled the balance of the festival.
