Dolly Parton Announces December Vegas Residency

American icon Dolly Parton will stage a six-performance residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas this December, a rare run of shows for the 79-year-old legend.
“Dolly: Live In Las Vegas” is set for Dec. 4, 6, 7, 10, 12 and 13 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, coinciding with the National Finals Rodeo at the Thomas & Mack Center at UNLV.
The residency will be Parton’s first extended run in 32 years and her first post-pandemic concerts of any kind.
The setlist will “[weave] together seven decades of classic hits and fan favorites.”
“To say I’m excited would be an understatement. I haven’t worked Vegas in years and I’ve always loved singing there. I’m looking so forward to the shows in The Colosseum at Caesars and I hope you are as well,” Parton said.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Pacific June 27 via Ticketmaster.
Though she’s performed at special events — with Nile Rogers at the Hammerstein Ballroom and a one-off of her own at the Grand Ole Opry House in 2019 and at the Kenny Rogers Bridgestone Arena tribute show in 2017 — Parton hasn’t had a true headline run since 2016, when she toured a mix of arenas and theaters. A double at the Hollywood Bowl that year sold a combined 28,321 tickets for a total gross of $2,261,813, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports.
Parton is repped in North America by CAA and managed by CTK Enterprises.
