AFI Announces North American Tour

Coming off a stint of opening for Linkin Park this year and touring with Thirty Seconds to Mars in 2024, influential emo act AFI will headline a tour of two dozen North American clubs and theaters this fall.

Following a play at Pittsburgh’s Four Chord Music Festival Sept. 14, the tour proper begins at Madison, Wisconsin’s The Sylvee Sept. 30 and includes stops at Chicago’s Salt Shed, The Anthem in Washington, D.C.; the Brooklyn Paramount and more. The tour wraps Nov. 5 at SOMA in San Diego, which comes ahead of a performance at Mexico City’s Corona Capital Nov. 16.

TR/ST will support most dates.

A Live Nation pre-sale begins June 26 using the code TREBLE with general on-sale 10 a.m. Eastern June 27 via Ticketmaster.

AFI’s most recent Pollstar Boxoffice submission was a one-off celebrating the 20th anniversary of their seminal album Sing the Sorrow March 11, 2023, at Inglewood, California’s Kia Forum. That show sold out, grossing $1,032,877 on 14,504 tickets. On the band’s last proper tour in 2022, a show at the Fox Theater in Oakland — a sort-of hometown play, as AFI originated in Northern California, albeit quite a ways up the road from the Bay in Ukiah — grossed $111,021 at a 3,018-ticket sell out.
