Mac DeMarco Extends Tour, Announces 6th Studio Album

Mac DeMarco is keeping the momentum going. In addition to a sold-out tour across North America, Europe and the United Kingdom, the Canadian star announced a new album and additional dates in 2026, visiting Asia and more U.S. cities early next year.
He’s releasing his sixth studio album, Guitar, Aug. 22 via Mac’s Record Label and dropped the lead single, “Home.” DeMarco’s latest album was recorded in his Los Angeles home last November, and the single pays homage to the city.
“I think Guitar is as close to a true representation of where I’m at in my life today as I can manage to put to paper,” DeMarco said in a statement. “I’m happy to share this music and look forward to playing these songs as many places as I’m able.”
DeMarco’s 2025 tour is completely sold out, including a three-night stand in August at The Greek Theatre in L.A. to kick off the tour. The trek includes shows at Radio City Music Hall in New York, Seattle’s Paramount Theatre and London’s Eventim Apollo before wrapping up at Royal Theatre in Victoria, British Columbia, on Dec. 19.
The multi-instrumentalist takes a break before embarking for Fukuoka, Japan, to perform at DRUM Be-1 on Feb. 16. The routing for his 2026 tour includes stops at TakuTaku in Kyoto, Japan; Tokyo’s Kanda Square Hall; Kitty Woo Stadium in Hong Kong; A-LOT at AREA15 in Las Vegas; The Astro in La Vista, Nebraska; The Salt Shed in Chicago; Thomas Wolfe Auditorium in Ashville, North Carolina; Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium; Oklahoma City’s The Criterion; and the Linda Ronstadt Music Hall in Tucson, Arizona. DeMarco wraps up his lengthy run May 23 at Humphreys Concerts by the Bay in San Diego.
Tickets for the new shows will be available June 27 at noon ET. Visit macdemarco.com/tour/ for more information.
DeMarco last visited many of these North American markets two years ago and has seen success overseas, as well. He performed a sold-out show at Hordern Pavilion in Moore Park, Australia, on Jan. 10, 2020, that grossed $318,549 off 5,443 tickets, according to Pollstar Boxoffice.
Mac DeMarco is booked by Michelle Cable of Panache and booked by Cable in North America. Clemence Renaut of ATC Live books the artist’s shows in Europe and the U.K.
