Kendrick Lamar Adds Latin American Dates To ‘Grand National Tour’

Latin American fans will get a chance to see hip-hop’s biggest star live this year. On the heels of announcing a solo headlining run in Australia, Kendrick Lamar announced today the addition of five LATAM markets to his highly successful “Grand National Tour.”
The routing to tour, which is presented by Live Nation and pgLang, now includes a Sept. 23 show at Mexico City’s iconic Estadio GNP Seguros, followed by a Sept. 27 concert at Vive Claro in Bogotá, Colombia, and a show at São Paulo, Brazil’s Allianz Parque on Sept. 30. Lamar then makes his way to Buenos Aires, Argentina, for to perform at Estadio Monumental on Oct. 4 and wraps up the LATAM leg of the tour at Estadio Monumental in Santiago.
Argentinian duo CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso, who made their U.S. debut at Coachella earlier this year, will support all of Lamar’s Latin American shows.
Tickets for the Mexico City concert go on sale July 3 at 2 p.m. local time. The onsale for Bogotá begins July 4 at 10 a.m.; tickets for the Brazilian concert are available for purchase on July 2 at 11 a.m.; Buenos Aires tickets are on sale July 1 at 10 a.m. local time; and Santiago goes live July 3 at noon. Lamar, who is booked by Brent Smith of Wasserman Music and managed by Dave Free of pgLang, has gone on a remarkable run after a memorable Super Bowl Halftime Show performance. The rapper hailing from Compton, California, teamed up with SZA to perform sold-out shows in stadiums across the U.S., including a massive concert at Lumen Field in Seattle that grossed $15.37 million off 60,941 tickets on May 17, according to Pollstar Boxoffice.
