Fans at Houston’s NRG Stadium gasped during Saturday night’s “Cowboy Carter” tour stop, as a prop car carrying hometown heroine Beyoncé began tilting precipitously while suspended above the stage.

“Stop! Stop! Stop!” the 43-year-old superstar could be heard via videos posted to social media. Despite the frightening turn of events, Beyoncé was safely lowered to the stage and finished performing “16 Carriages.”

“If ever I fall, I know y’all will catch me,” she said from the stage.

Beyoncé’s production company, Parkwood Entertainment, later released a statement via Instagram that said the tilt was caused by a “technical mishap.”

“She was quickly lowered and no one was injured. The show continued without incident,” the statement said.

Beyoncé’s two shows at Houston grossed a combined $35,492,477 on 103,353 tickets, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports.
