“The Magic Of Tomorrowland”

Tomorrowland, in partnership with Hero Esports, INS Land, and Budweiser, presents “The Magic of Tomorrowland,” the festival’s inaugural event in China.

Scheduled for Nov. 22 at Shanghai’s Hero Dome, this new event “blends Tomorrowland’s world-renowned production with cutting-edge technology, offering an immersive experience that will redefine live entertainment,” bringing together “music, innovation, and storytelling in a fully immersive indoor experience, inviting fans to co-create a shared journey, where imagination, sound, and technology come to life,” according to the press announcement.

“The Magic of Tomorrowland” promises to blend Tomorrowland’s global headliners and signature elements with the next wave of Chinese talent – reimagined through the lens of China and brought to life in one unforgettable show.

Guests can expect “exclusive China performances from some of the world’s most celebrated DJs” supported by “a diverse line-up spanning genres and continents.”

“The Magic of Tomorrowland” also marks the start of a long-term partnership between Tomorrowland’s artist agency One World Artists, and Shanghai’s music and entertainment complex INS Land, “with the shared goal of introducing Chinese artists to global stages while introducing Tomorrowland’s international talent to China’s dynamic music scene.”

Ticket and lineup information will be released in September.

Tomorrowland Thailand

The Belgian EDM giant is also eyeing Thailand for a 2026 launch, according to a report by nationthailand.com. Thai prime minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra met with Tomorrowland CEO Bruno Vanwelsenaers, and the festival’s senior executive Filip Teerlinck in Bangkok, Thailand, June 25.

The meeting, according to the report, “focused on future cooperation to bring the globally celebrated music festival to Thai soil, aligning with the country’s ambitions to enhance its soft power through music, cultural events, and creative industries.”

Thailand, especially its islands, already enjoy a reputation for great EDM parties, including the annual full moon parties, but the arrival of Tomorrowland would obviously take things to a whole new level.

The nationthailand.com report states that prime minister intends to “infuse Tomorrowland Thailand with Thai cultural elements and maximize local participation, ensuring that Thai people benefit fully from the event.”

She’s quoted as saying, “this is an opportunity to spotlight Thai artists, energize our music industry, and set a new standard for hosting global concerts in Thailand. It’s a turning point in our journey to becoming a true world event destination.”

Tomorrowland & TikTok Partner

Tomorrowland, which boasts seven million followers on TikTok, announced a one-year partnership with the social media platform, making it the festival’s official content partner.

TikTok will offer “24/7 festival live streams, behind-the-scenes access, artist and creator collaborations, and interactive fan experiences that will bring music fans closer to the heart of the festival than ever before,” according to a press release from TikTok.

Tomorrowland 2025 takes place over two weekends in Boom, Belgium, July 18-20, and July 25-27.

SoundOn, TikTok’s music distribution and promotion service, is partnering with Tomorrowland’s label Tomorrowland Music to host a songwriting camp ahead of the festival.

“Artists from both labels will collaborate, write and release original music to soundtrack the activities happening on and off the TikTok platform during both weekends. The songs will be performed live onstage at Tomorrowland, and released and distributed by SoundOn,” according to the press release.

Michael Kümmerle, global head of music partnership development at TikTok, commented, “We are thrilled to once again to partner with Tomorrowland to bring the best of dance music to the global TikTok community of #ElectronicMusic lovers – this time for the whole year. We are also delighted that – for the first time – we are now offering brands the opportunity to become part of the Tomorrowland partnership on TikTok, and to partner with TikTok and all of Tomorrowland’s iconic events.”
