Country singer Will Jones signed with WME for global representation across all areas, the agency announced.

WME bolsters its country roster with a Nashville-based artist from the Blue Ridge Mountains whose music weaves outlaw grit with Appalachian soul to tell a unique story.

“Will’s talent, work ethic, and musicianship is exceptional. His future is bright, and we’re excited to have him at WME and be a part of his journey,” WME’s Carter Green and Jay Williams said in a statement. “The future of country music is in good hands!”

Jones also signed deals with Lady Luck Songs and Blue Harbor Music for publishing and artist development, respectively. Blue Harbor’s Steve Markland released a joint statement along with Kim Penz and Cliff Audretch of Lady Luck Songs, saying, “Will’s a true triple-threat with big things on the horizon. We can’t wait for the world to hear and see what all he has coming down the pike!”

Jones just released a new song, “Lonesome Dove,” that he wrote with Davis Corley, Lee Starr and Dan Wilson. He says it came from “imagining what Gus McCrae might’ve said to Lorie Darlin’ in that saloon. It’s a lighthearted take on the idea that not everyone’s chasing forever – sometimes it’s enough to share a moment, even if it only lasts the length of a song.”

John Cantu of Red Light Management looks forward to continuing to develop Jones’s career alongside the artist’s agents at WME as well as Lady Luck Songs and Blue Harbor Music.

“Will’s been doing the work his whole life. He’s got the raw talent, work ethic and personality for longevity,” Cantu said. “We have a great team in place and a clear vision. Proud to be a part of building what’s next for him.”

Jones has supported the tours of Josh Turner, Corey Smith and Ashley McBryde. He opened for Turner at Ford Wyoming Center in Casper, Wyoming, in January. That show grossed $125,033 off 2,307 tickets sold, according to Pollstar Boxoffice.
