Béla Fleck & The Flecktones To Reunite For Holiday Tour

Jazzy progressive bluegrass giants Béla Fleck & The Flecktones will tour U.S. theaters during the festive season this year, spreading holiday cheer and reprising a Grammy-winning 2008 album.

The band — banjoist Fleck, bassist Victor Wooten, percussionist Roy “Future Man” Wooten and harmonica and piano player Howard Levy — will play 21 shows between Thanksgiving and Christmas on the “Jingle All The Way” tour, playing tunes from the album of the same name. The performances will include appearances by guests from that album, including Tuvan throat singing group Alash and former Flecktone Jeff Coffin, now a member of Dave Matthews Band.

The tour begins with a double at the Ryman Auditorium Nov. 26 and 28 and includes plays at Chicago’s Salt Shed, New York’s Beacon Theatre and more before wrapping Dec. 20 at the Joy Theater in New Orleans.

Presales are open now with a general onsale 10 a.m. local July 18.

The Flecktones will play a previously announced small tour of the west which will include a support slot for DMB at the Gorge Aug. 30. In recent years, the band has only performed a handful of shows per year. In September 2023, they sold 1,712 tickets at Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center, grossing $89,215, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports.
