Classic rock hit-makers the Steve Miller Band has canceled all upcoming dates, which included theaters, amphitheaters and arenas running from August into November.

“You make music with your instincts. You live your life by your instincts. Always trust your instincts… The Steve Miller Band has cancelled all of our upcoming tour dates in 2025,” a message from the band read. “You can blame it on the weather… The combination of extreme heat, unpredictable flooding, tornadoes, hurricanes, and massive forest fires makes these risks for our audience, the band, and the crew unacceptable. The tour is cancelled. Don’t know where, don’t know when… We hope to see you all again. We wish you all Peace, Love and Happiness. Please take care of each other.”

The band spent much of 2024 touring with Def Leppard and Journey. A headline performance May 8 at Orion Amphitheater in Huntsville, Alabama, sold 7,007 tickets for a gross of $307,523, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports. The band has 442 reports in the database, dating back to 1999, with a total gross of $121.8 million and more than 2.5 million tickets sold.

The band, fronted by 81-year-old hit maker Steve Miller, signed with IAG for agency representation in December.
