Following Kings of Leon’s cancellation of shows on a portion of their European dates due to lead singer Caleb Followill’s heel injury, the band returned to the stage this past weekend and joined Zach Bryan for his sold-out show at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Earlier this summer, Followill sustained a serious injury to his heel. The band informed fans in a statement, “Caleb Followill has recently sustained a serious injury, shattering his heel and requiring a significant emergency surgery, that will prevent him from traveling and performing. The anticipated recovery process is expected to take eight weeks under strict guidance of expert orthopedic specialists.”

Kings of Leon will join Zach Bryan once again for his performance at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco on Aug. 15, before heading back to Europe to finish out their summer tour. Their recent stint with Zach Bryan included three shows at MetLife Stadium from July 18 to 20.

The band’s performance over the weekend included new music from their latest album, Can We Please Have Fun, which debuted last year.

Kings of Leon are booked by WME’s Robby Fraser, Ketih Sarkisian and Josh Kurfirst worldwide, and their label is Capitol Music Group. With 449 headline reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice, the band has sold 4 million tickets, grossing $239.1 million.
