AEG Presents & Combat Announce Strategic Partnership With French Sustainability Pioneers We Love Green

We Love Green, one of Europe’s pioneering and most environmentally-conscious music festivals, has announced a strategic partnership AEG Presents, and Combat — an independent media and culture organization.
It marks the beginning of a new chapter for We Love Green, a French festival highly decorated for its approach to sustainability. The partnership will help “amplify its impact, expand internationally, and strengthen its position as a platform for cultural and ecological innovation,” according to the press announcement.
Founded by We Love Art and Because Group, We Love Green has developed into a major summer gathering in Europe over the past decade, combining a top-tier musical program with ecological innovation and social consciousness.
Each year, more than 120,000 festival goers gather in the heart of the Bois de Vincennes around five distinct stages, to experience a fusion of culture and commitment.
Since 2011, We Love Green has hosted the first French festival performances by artists including Charli XCX, Rosalia, Jorja Smith, Lorde, PNL, Aya Nakamura, Angèle and gathered artists like, Tyler the Creator, Gorillaz, Tale Impala, Bjork, FKA Twigs, Migos, Justice, Lcd SoundSystem, Skrillex, Phoenix, Little Simz, Jamie XX, Tale of us, Amelie Lens, and many more.
A selection of plant-based gastronomy prepared by renowned chefs, a conference and comedy stage, an arts and scenography program, are all part of We Love Green’s program.
From the very beginning, the festival was built on sustainable development, from logistics to a production powered by 100% renewable energy.
These efforts earned We Love Green the Green Operation Award by Yourope in 2024, and the festival has been certified “Outstanding” for more than 10 years by the UK NGO A Greener Future, which conducts detailed on-site audits at festivals and is considered a gold standard when it comes to sustainability accreditation.
The alliance with Combat (publisher of Radio Nova, Les Inrockuptibles, co-producer of Rock en Seine, Golden Coast, La Route du Rock and Les Inrocks Festival, shareholder of Rough Trade) and AEG Presents aims to “take the festival to new heights, strengthen the festival’s ambitions by providing the resources to grow, expand its international reach, and continue exploring new sustainable cultural formats, while preserving its artistic vision and environmental mission,” the press release continues.
Both partners bring unique and complementary strengths to this newly formed venture.
Groupe Combat contributes “deep cultural expertise, a robust portfolio of independent festivals and media, and a strong foothold in the French creative landscape.”
AEG Presents, with an already expansive global portfolio of festivals, venues and global tours, provides operational insights and expertise.
Under the leadership of festival director and We Love Art founder Marie Sabot, We Love Green is already preparing for the 2026 edition, with more details to come this fall regarding the festival’s new ambitions, both in France and internationally.
