Nashville Meets New York At Carnegie Hall For “An Evening With The Grand Ole Opry”

Marking its 100th Anniversary, Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry is making a rare visit to New York’s Carnegie Hall for a special night of country music: “An Evening with the Grand Ole Opry,” on March 20, 2026.
The evening is part of Carnegie Hall’s “United Sound: America at 250” a festival highlighting the two-and-a half centuries since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Across more than 35 concerts as part of the festival at Carnegie Hall, audiences will experience a showcase of the American spirt through music including Broadway, jazz, film music, rock, hip-hop, bluegrass, classical and country.
In addition to “An Evening with the Grand Ole Opry,” the series includes performances by Marin Alsop, American Composers Orchestra, Timo Andres and Aaron Diehl, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Brooklyn Rider, Ray Chew, Dover Quartet, Michael Feinstein, The Knights, Kronos Quartet, The Met Orchestra, aja monet, The New York Pops, Orchestra of St. Luke’s, The Philadelphia Orchestra and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, Davóne Tines and many others.
Tickets to “Untied In Sound: America at 250” events can now be added to current and new Carnegie Hall subscription packages for the 2025-2026 season and purchased as part of a Create Your Own subscription series.
Limited single tickets go on sale to the general public on Aug. 11 at 11:00 AM/ET. Additional tickets to “An Evening with the Grand Ole Opry” will be released when the artist line-up is confirmed at a later date.
The March 20, 2026, show marks the fourth headlining performance by the Opry including previous visits in 1947, 1961 and 2005.
The Opry is in the midst of celebrating 100 years of unforgettable performances and its undeniable impact on the past, present and future of country music through one-of-a-kind live shows.
Ongoing Opry 100 events include “Opry 100 Honors” paying tribute to several of the icons who have helped shape the Opry’s first century including Porter Wagoner (Aug. 12), Bill Monroe (Sept. 16) and Minnie Pearl and Roy Acuff (Oct. 18), with more to be announced for 2026.
The Opry will also host it’s first-ever live international broadcast from London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall on Sept. 26 featuring Opry members Luke Combs, Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Darius Rucker and Marty Stuart.
During the month of October, the Opry will celebrate its “Rhinestone Milestone” birthday all month with birthday shows, plaza parties, special fan activations, surprises and more. And on Nov. 28, the Opry will celebrate the 100th anniversary of its Nov. 28, 1925, inaugural broadcast with an all-star Opry member show (with details to be announced).
