Beyoncé’s Historic ‘Cowboy Carter Tour’ Concludes As Top Grossing Country Tour With More Than $400M

That’s a wrap on Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter Tour,” which culminated in Las Vegas with a two-night engagement at Allegiant Stadium featuring appearances from Shaboozey, JAY-Z and Destiny’s Child.
Queen Bey’s impressive trek shattered records across the globe throughout its 32-date run. The Live Nation-promoted stadium tour surpassed $400 million in grosses, cementing her as one of the greatest touring artists of all time. According to a release from Live Nation, the megastar extended her records as the highest-grossing Black artist of all time and the top-grossing R&B artist. No other country tour has ever reached the $400 million mark, making Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter Tour” the highest-grossing country trek of all time, Pollstar confirmed, besting stars like Kenny Chesney, Luke Combs and pre-pop Taylor Swift.
The singer known for her R&B hits gave country a go in 2024 with her eighth studio LP, Cowboy Carter. The acclaimed album earned Beyoncé the coveted Album of the Year Grammy Award, an honor that has long eluded the star and made her the first Black artist to win in that category. Beyoncé is the most awarded Grammy winner with 35 wins.
Beyoncé is also the first American act to have two separate tours surpass $400 million. Her “Renaissance Tour” in 2023 ranked No. 2 on Pollstar’s Top 200 Worldwide Tours of that year with a whopping $579,813,546 haul across 56 shows. Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” run was even better in average gross per show, which was nearly $13 million, according to Pollstar Boxoffice. Her five nights at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, in May grossed a whopping $70,284,615.
More than 1.5 million fans attended across 32 sold-out stadium shows in North America, the United Kingdom and Europe. The tour raised more than $3 million for BeyGOOD, the star’s nonprofit that helps communities by supporting marginalized and under-resourced programs.
Throughout the tour, Beyoncé had special guests like Miley Cyrus and The Mayyas stop by, but she saved the most special one for her final show in Vegas with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, marking the first time Destiny’s Child reunited on stage since Beyoncé’s memorable 2018 Coachella set. The trio reportedly sang a medley of Destiny’s Child’s biggest hits and Beyoncé’s “Energy” before concluding with the group’s 2001 single “Bootylicious.”
