Ex-Spotify Exec Jérémy Erlich Launches ALTA Music Group, Inks Blackpink’s Jennie

Jérémy Erlich, who left Spotify in February after serving as the streaming giant’s Global Head of Music, has launched full-service music company ALTA Music Group and signed Blackpink star Jennie to a management deal.
Based in Los Angeles, ALTA will work in recorded music, publishing and artist management, and has secured distribution deals with Sony Music’s independent distribution unit The Orchard.
For her part, Jennie — who, along with her Blackpink bandmates, ended her management contract with YG in January 2025 — will maintain her existing management relationship with OddAttelier, which she founded, in parallel with ALTA.
“Throughout my career I’ve focused on the best way to service artists around the world that would create an environment that sets them up for long-term, global success. With ALTA we have the opportunity to do just that – a best in class team focused solely on supporting our artists and the music they create. Everything else does not matter. I’m grateful to the artists and executives who have already put their trust in me and our company,” Erlich said.
During his nearly six years at Spotify, average monthly users grew from 230 million to 670 million and its subscriber base surpassed 275 million. Prior to Spotify, Erlich had roles at UMG and Interscope Geffen A&M.
