Soundside Music Festival Canceled ‘Due To Circumstances Beyond Our Control’

The 2025 edition of Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport, Connecticut’s Seaside Park has been canceled, with organizers citing “circumstances beyond our control.” Refunds are promised within 30 days, with a full FAQ on the event’s website.
The second-year event, produced by Founders Entertainment and C3 Presents as a successor to the Sound on Sound festival, was to feature The Killers, Hozier, Weezer, Vampire Weekend and many others Sept. 27-28. Additional artists included Djo, Japanese Breakfast, The Last Dinner Party, Remi Wolf, The Backseat Lovers, Chelsea Cutler and more.
The festival, billed as Connecticut’s biggest music fest, boasted a rotating single-state setup, curated food and beverage and VIP perks including on-field viewing areas, a beach club, private bar, air conditioned restrooms and more. This year included a new Bleachers Ticket offering upgraded access to amenities along with bucket seating.
Last year’s inaugural event featured Noah Kahan, Jack White (as a replace for Foo Fighters), Fleet Foxes, Greta Van Fleet, Teddy Swims, Boyz II Men and others.
Refund information, including for those who purchased travel packages and ticket insurance, is available on the festival’s website.
