The Libertines Announce Secret Gig Ahead Of Homecoming Performance In London

As a warm-up for the final show of their current tour, taking place at Gunnersbury Park in London, Aug. 9, The Libertines have announced a very special one-off live club show at an as of yet undisclosed venue in West London, taking place on Thursday July 31.
“The band will take to the stage at 7.30 p.m., and are straight on the bus afterwards for more sold out shows in France and Belgium,” the press release announcing the secret warm-up show states.
Entrance to the secret show is on a first-come-first-served basis with 250 tickets available priced at £22.50 ($30.22), including booking fee. To be in with a chance of attending, fans need to sign up here.
The Aug. 9 performance at Gunnersbury Park marks The Libertines’ final show of a tour that visited the UK, Europe, Mexico, and Australia, and included a performance at Glastonbury Festival 2025.
They’ve been touring in support of their UK number one album All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade – the band’s fourth studio album released on April 5, 2024, and their second peak position since their eponymous sophomore album, The Libertines, released in 2004.
Highlights from that tour include a sold-out performance at the O2 Academy in Birmingham, England, Oct. 3, 2024, where The Libertines sold 2,996 tickets at a $148,876 gross, according to the box office report submitted to Pollstar.
They also sold out the O2 Academy in Bristol on Oct. 8 that year, moving 1,600 tickets, grossing $78,557; as well as the O2 Academy Leeds (2,300 tickets, $112,084 grossed).
The UK run also included two sold out Barrowland Ballrooms in Glasgow, Scotland, Oct. 17-18, 2024 (3,800 tickets, $185,064 grossed); as well as three sold Albert Halls Manchester, Nov. 7-9 (5,700 tickets, $278,634 grossed across all three shows). The UK run was promoted by SJM Concerts, Metropolis Music, and DF Concerts (Scotland).
One Pollstar Boxoffice highlight from the Australian tour leg is a sold-out April 15, 2025 performance at the Forum Melbourne, where they 1,941 sold tickets generated a $131,580 gross, promoted by Secret Sounds.
Their Aug. 9 homecoming show at Gunnersbury Park in London may be the last opportunity to see The Libertines live for the foreseeable future, according to the press release from Festival Republic, promoter of the Gunnersbury Park concert series.

A comment from Peter Doherty confirms, “We are going to take a break, live life a little for a bit and enjoy some time in the wilderness communing with nature, and see where the muse takes us. Support on Aug. 9 at Gunnersbury Park is coming from very sepcials guests Supergrass, Soft Play, Hak Baker, Lambrini Girls, and Real Farmer.
The Libertines are represented by Wasserman Music’s James Whitting worldwide excluding North America, where Independent Artist Group’s Mike Hayes is their agent.
