Tahoe Live Expands To Three Days With Zeds Dead, Porter Robinson, LSZEE& More (Exclusive)

Tahoe Live once again kicks off Lake Tahoe’s ski season as the premier music festival returns to Palisades Tahoe from Dec. 12 to 14. This year’s lineup features some of dance music’s top talent, including Zeds Dead, Porter Robinson and Alison Wonderland. DJ Diesel, the dubstep project of Shaquille O’Neal, returns due to popular demand, with further appearances by LSZEE, the collaborative project by LSDREAM and CloZee.
The festival stands as the only electronic music festival in the United States to take place on the grounds of a ski resort, offering fans a combination of music and snow, and kicking off the ski season. This year marks the first time the festival’s expanded to three days, with Tahoe Live founder Dustin Esson expressing it felt like “a natural next step.”
“We’ve been intentional about scaling while staying true to the vibe that makes Tahoe Live so unique,” he tells Pollstar. “This third day gives us more space to tell a full story across genres, elevate the guest experience and give our fans even more reasons to make a winter trip to Tahoe.”
The festival sits at 6,200 feet high in the midst of the Palisades resort, Esson and the Tahoe Live team collaborating with those at the resort to create a unique experience for fans. They can take in views of the Sierra Nevada, have direct access to the Reno-Tahoe International Airport and walking from the mainstage to the ski trails is an easy trek.
“The partnership with Palisades has been a huge part of our success,” he says. “Tom Feiten and Matt Peterson and their team there truly understand what we’re building and have been incredibly supportive since day one. And the local community has embraced us in a big way, which we don’t take for granted. From skiers and snowboarders to year-round residents, there’s a sense of pride in seeing world-class talent on their mountain. It’s created something that feels rooted, not dropped in.”
In addition to this year’s headliners, talent includes Jessica Audiffred, Peekaboo, San holo, Sippy, Hairitage, Swaylo, Yetep and Zen Selekta.
“We wanted 2025 to feel both elevated and expansive respecting the core of what fans love about Tahoe Live while pushing the edges a little,” Esson says. “We brought back legends like Shaq who truly own the Tahoe stage and paired them with acts like LSDREAM and CloZee that represent where the genre is headed. Booking Porter Robinson and Zeds Dead was about anchoring each night with heavy-hitters who bring emotional depth and energy, while also building in space for newer, genre-blurring artists to shine. It’s about contrast and flow.”
The festival will maintain its single-stage, wanting to keep to its boutique roots while providing fans with a top-tier experience.
“Tahoe Live isn’t about being the biggest, it’s about being unforgettable and original,” Esson says. “We’re single stage by design, which allows us to keep the energy focused and curated. Our goal has always been to blend the intimacy of a boutique experience with the scale of a world-class lineup, and that contrast is what keeps people coming back.”
Tickets for this year’s festival go on sale Aug. 4 at 10 a.m. PT.
