Chris Young announced his first-ever holiday tour “It Must Be Christmas – An Acoustic Evening with Chris Young” sharing holiday classics from his It Must Be Christmas album.

“Christmas is probably my favorite holiday,” shares Young in a release. “Music was always heavily tied to the spirit of the season for me, so I can’t wait to celebrate that feeling with everyone out on the road this year.”

Tickets for the 15-dateheadline tour go on sale Aug. 8, at 10:00 AM local time.

Nearing 20 years in the country music spotlight, Young has been a prolific hitmaker with 14 No. 1 singles and nine+ billion streams. The Christmas tour news comes on the heels of announcing I Didn’t Come Here to Leave, his tenth album and first with Black River Entertainment. The project is scheduled for release on Oct. 17, which coincides with Young’s induction in the Grand Ole Opry on Oct. 17, 2017.
