After debuting at No. 2 on LIVE75 six weeks ago, The Weeknd moves to the top spot for the first time this year based on ticket sales at nine concerts on his “After Hours till Dawn Stadium Tour.” After his first chart appearance on June 27, he was ranked each week behind Beyoncé, who drops from the chart with the completion of her “Cowboy Carter Tour.” He also replaces her as the “Heavy Hitter” with the top gross average of $8.89 million per show. Beyoncé held that recognition for 12 consecutive weeks, just one shy of Bad Bunny’s 13-week run during his “World’s Hottest Tour” in 2022.

The nine shows that contribute to chart eligibility this week occurred in five stadiums on the tour’s current North American leg. Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and Lumen Field in Seattle all hosted the tour for single shows, with Denver-area fans buying the most tickets. His concert there on June 21 drew a sellout crowd of 63,668, while the Las Vegas ticket count was 52,441 and Seattle’s was 62,483. Then, in California, SoFi Stadium in Inglewood was booked on four nights of the “After Hours till Dawn” trek and sold 199,290 tickets, while a two-show stint at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara filled 100,230 seats.

The Weeknd also remains at No. 1 on the Artist Power Index, stretching his hold on the top to nine consecutive weeks. Among the chart’s eligibility metrics, his Live score is second only to Oasis, based on box-office success during the past month. Then, in the Streaming category, only Justin Bieber and Drake are higher on the list of top artists, while he is sixth in Airplay behind Morgan Wallen, SZA, Benson Boone, Sabrina Carpenter and Shaboozey.

Returning to the Artist Power Index for the first time this year is Bad Bunny, No. 11, making his first appearance on the chart since beginning “No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí,” his ongoing concert residency at Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan.

With an opening performance on July 11, he began his run of 30 shows at the arena, scheduled to continue through Sep. 14. The Boxoffice archives include reports for 11 earlier Bad Bunny concerts at the arena featuring three-show runs in 2019, 2022, and last year, as well as a two-show engagement in 2021. Together, those shows logged 165,207 sold tickets, an average of 15,019 per concert, while combined grosses reached $11.9 million.

The “Hot Shot” touring artist with the highest ranked debut on LIVE75 is “Weird Al” Yankovic, who enters the chart at No. 17 based on ticket sales at three venues on his “Bigger & Weirder” tour. The comedian averaged 9,338 tickets sold per show at one arena and two amphitheaters. Among them, New York City’s Madison Square Garden recorded the top attendance with 12,461 tickets sold on July 12.

Earlier on June 24, Yankovic sold out Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado with 8,961 in attendance, then sold 6,592 tickets on July 27 at The Orion Amphitheater in Huntsville, Alabama. Grosses from all three shows totaled $2.19 million.
