Parker Glenn at UTA considers his biggest milestone of the year to have been the ascent of The Marías from theaters and amphitheaters to sold-out arenas, Polo & Pan closing out the Outdoor Theatre at Coachella and Rebecca Black’s Boiler Room set in Washington, D.C.

He got his start joining his college radio station, helping out local promoters and graduating to booking shows for his own college campus. From there, he was hooked and knew he needed to pursue a career in the music industry.

“My first real job was at The Agency Group as an assistant in the Casino Department, which later joined UTA, where I started and have built my career,” Glenn, 32, says. “10 years later, and I’m still loving my first gig.”

Throughout his time at UTA, Glenn has considered Sam Kirby Yoh a mentor. “She has the most admirable drive and a refined sense of taste that sets her apart again and again,” he shares. “She’s constantly pushing boundaries and going further than anyone I know. That kind of momentum is contagious – it inspires me every day. The most valuable lessons I’ve learned from her are to approach challenges from every angle, to dig deeper, and to show up for my partners and clients not just with answers, but with a point of view.”

Glenn, who was promoted to agent four years ago, credits going out to shows on a regular basis as part of why he’s managed to find success at such an early age. He was pushed to go out and meet up not just with artists he represents, but promoters, talent buyers, managers, and everyone else in the live business for face-to-face interactions that could benefit him in the long run.

“I don’t think this is specific to my generation, but coming up in the business when I did really shaped who I am as an agent,” Glenn says. “At the time, the expectation was to be out a lot – and I loved going to shows. It gave me the chance to meet so many people, sharpen my instincts, and experience incredible performances. That exposure has played a huge role in my growth and success.”

Glenn notes he loves to see his teammates win, and aims to help them where he can: “I always try to offer ways to support my team’s development – whether that means offering guidance, creating space for them to take the initiative, or simply being available when they need someone to listen. I’ve learned that people do their best work when they feel trusted and supported, and I work hard to foster that kind of environment.”
