Legendary guitarist Trey Anastasio will perform three nights at New York City’s Beacon Theatre this fall, celebrating the fifth anniversary of his 2020 Beacon Jams residency.

The special three-night stand is set for Nov. 28-30 and will feature Anastasio performing in different formats each night, including sets with the Trey Anastasio band and The Rescue Squad Strings, who performed at the Beacon Jams residency.

Presales begin Aug. 13 at noon ET, followed by the general onsale, which starts Aug. 15 at noon ET. Tickets are available at Trey.com. Proceeds from the shows will benefit the Divided Sky Foundation, a nonprofit addiction recovery center in Vermont founded by Anastasio that offers a holistic approach to sobriety and provides a safe, supportive space for those beginning their recovery journey.

The 2020 Beacon Jams residency was streamed for free over eight consecutive Fridays during the height of the coronavirus pandemic, giving music fans a virtual gathering place during a time of isolation. Anastasio drew from his vast catalog each night, from his Trey Anastasio Band to Phish, as well as new songs and arrangements with the Rescue Squad Strings. Those shows raised more than $1.2 million to help open the Divided Sky Residential Recovery Program, which opened in November of 2023 in Ludlow, Vermont.

“The Beacon Jams shows were the most artistically satisfying thing I’ve ever worked on,” Anastasio said in a statement. “They meant so much to everyone involved — not just the audience, but the musicians as well. Everyone was hungry for music and connection, and somehow we found a way to create community in the middle of such a messed-up, isolating moment. Even the name felt meaningful — like we were shining a searchlight into the fog and manifesting something positive out of something so negative.

“At the time, addiction and alcoholism numbers were climbing, and there we were celebrating this dream of creating a sober retreat that could truly help. Now, five years later, that dream is a fully functioning facility doing incredible work. I’ve never been part of anything so pure in its intent. Musically, it was the pinnacle of my career because it combined everything I’ve ever done — Phish, TAB, my solo acoustic work, and the more orchestral projects. My hope is to bring that same spirit of openness and inclusiveness to these three anniversary shows.”

Anastasio, recognized as one of the greatest guitarists of all time, is represented by Wasserman Music’s Marty Diamond in North America and managed by Patrick Jordan of Red Light Management.

The Grammy-nominated frontman for Phish has also had a successful solo career on the road. Anatasio performed a sold-out show at The Bellwether in Los Angeles on Aug. 1 and grossed $97,995 off 1,410 tickets sold, according to Pollstar Boxoffice. The jam band star also performed two nights at Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre in Red Bank, New Jersey, in April and grossed $322,114 off 3,125 tickets.
