As it preps opening night for its new jazz club in Los Angeles, Blue Note Entertainment Group announced an exclusive partnership with Mastercard that will give cardholders special access to the Hollywood location opening Aug. 14.

Those with a Mastercard will have exclusive access to experiences at Blue Note Los Angeles that include VIP premium seating not offered to the public. Cardholders will also have an opportunity to purchase tickets to select opening week shows, including access to otherwise sold-out shows, and opportunities to meet and greet the artists. The exclusive experiences will be available through priceless.com/blue-note-la.

“We’re proud to partner with Mastercard to offer their cardholders exclusive access to Blue Note LA. This collaboration is an exciting opportunity for us to connect even more people to live jazz and reflects our shared passion for delivering unforgettable experiences and truly memorable moments,” Steven Bensusan, president of Blue Note Entertainment Group, said in a statement.

Rustom Dastoor, EVP of marketing and communications for the Americas at Mastercard, adds, “Mastercard is committed to inspiring people to pursue their passions, and music is one of the most powerful ways we connect with culture and community. Our partnership with Blue Note Los Angeles marks an exciting expansion of our music footprint in a city that has long been a heartbeat of artistic innovation. Together, we are bringing cardholders closer to the sounds they love – offering exclusive access to intimate performances, sold-out shows and unforgettable moments that only live music can deliver.”

Blue Note recently unveiled a stacked opening season, including a grand opening by five-time Grammy winner Robert Glasper, who has served as an ambassador of Blue Note by performing at its historic New York club and curating the company’s festivals. The partnership between Blue Note and Mastercard will give cardholders a chance to have the best seat in the house to see Glasper and artists like Alex Isley, esperanza spalding, Charlie Puth, Kamasi Washington, Andra Day, Killer Mike, Ben Folds and many more. Blue Note embraces the space to collaborate and experience those spontaneous moments that are special. We’re thankful to all the artists and their teams who are a part of this opening season of shows. They’re helping us set the tone to launch Blue Note L.A.”
