Amid a slew of headlining sets at high-profile festivals in European cities this summer, Chappell Roan just checked off another career milestone with her first concert ever as an arena headliner. Between main stage appearances in August at “Pukkelpop Festival” in Belgium and “Rock en Seine Festival” in France, the reigning Best New Artist Grammy winner headlined a single performance on Aug. 19 at Hallenstadion in Zürich, Switzerland. A total of 12,730 tickets were sold for the arena concert, which earns her a Live score on the Artist Power Index. That ranking, along with scores in the Streaming, Airplay and Social categories, lands her on the 50-position chart, ranked No. 32.

It was the first solo headlining date of her “Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things” tour, which is set to head to North America this fall following the European festival run that began in June and will continue through the end of August. She has multiple shows planned in three U.S. markets: New York City, Kansas City and Los Angeles, followed by a final festival date at Mexico City’s “Corona Capital Festival” in November.

Between Sept. 20 and 24, she will play four shows at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York, followed by two concerts in early October at the Museum and Memorial Park in Kansas City, Missouri. Then her final U.S. shows this year will be on Oct. 10 and 11 at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.

Roan’s box-office history at Pollstar includes a total of 43 concerts reported between February 2023 and October of last year. With most of her live shows prior to 2025 booked in theaters, along with a handful of concerts at sheds and clubs, she averaged 2,864 sold tickets per show during the past two years. Her final shows last year were held at outdoor amphitheaters in Franklin, Tennessee; Rogers, Arkansas; and Council Bluffs, Iowa. Together, she sold a combined total of 31,036 tickets at all three venues.

Aside from Roan, only one other headliner debuts on the Artist Power Index, as the No. 41 ranking belongs to Jonas Brothers following the launch of the trio’s “Greetings from Your Hometown Tour.” The tour celebrating the group’s 20th anniversary kicked off at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Aug. 10, the opening night of a 14-week trek through the U.S. and Canada. Concerts during the tour include shows booked at three additional stadiums as well as performances at outdoor amphitheaters and indoor arenas. Joining the tour as support on select dates are Marshmello, Boys Like Girls and All-American Rejects.

While the Artist Power Index features a repeat at No. 1 with The Weeknd holding the top ranking for 11 weeks in a row, LIVE75 also features a back-to-back appearance at No. 1 by Imagine Dragons. The band takes the top position on the chart for a second consecutive week based on ticket sales from the European leg of the “Loom World Tour” that began in Italy in May. Stadium dates in 16 countries continued through July 26, with the final nine concerts on the European trek averaging 48,382 sold seats per show to retain the chart’s top ranking. The gross average from those shows surpasses $5.52 million per concert.

The highest average gross on LIVE75, however, is $7.88 million per show, belonging to My Chemical Romance with the “Heavy Hitter” classification and the No. 4 ranking on the chart. The band also earns “Hot Shot” status this week as the concert headliner with the top-ranked debut based on recent ticket sales.

The rock veterans are on the road this summer to celebrate their 2006 release, The Black Parade, playing the album in its entirety at Major League Baseball venues in U.S. and Canadian cities through Sep. 13. The tour averaged a total of 41,026 sold tickets at five concerts including two at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles with 87,431 sold tickets, July 26-27.

Also contributing to the band’s average was a July 19 performance at San Francisco’s Oracle Park with 33,946 tickets sold, and a sellout at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, on Aug. 2 with 38,246 in attendance. Then, on Aug. 9, the tour stopped at MetLife Stadium and welcomed 45,511 fans. Together, grosses from all five shows reached $39.4 million.
