Radiohead To Return To The Road With 20-Show European Tour

The legendary and influential — and often enigmatic — Radiohead will tour for the first time in seven years this November and December, with a five-city, 20-show tour of European arenas.
“Last year, we got together to rehearse, just for the hell of it. After a seven year pause, it felt really good to play the songs again and reconnect with a musical identity that has become lodged deep inside all five of us,” drummer Philip Selway wrote in a message to fans. “It also made us want to play some shows together, so we hope you can make it to one of the upcoming dates. For now, it will just be these ones but who knows where this will all lead.”
The band will play four nights each at Madrid’s Movistar Arena, Bologna’s Unipol Arena, The O2 in London, the Royal Arena in Copenhagen and Uber Arena in Berlin.
Tickets will only be available by registering at radiohead.com. Registration opens at 10 a.m. BST Sept. 5 and closes 72 hours later at 10pm BST Sept. 7.
The ticket sale begins Sept. 12.
Radiohead released Hail To Thief – Live Recordings 2003-2009 digitally earlier this year with a physical release set for Oct. 31.
With 149 headline reports in Pollstar’s Boxoffice, Radiohead has sold more than 3 million tickets and grossed more than $185.2 million. The band capped their 2018 tour with two sold out nights at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center, grossing $2,266,092 on 25,917 combined tickets.
The band is repped by 13 Artists outside of North America, where they are booked by CAA’s Carole Kinzel.
