The buoyancy of the live sector is bringing in new consumers, there are some exciting moves within the companies themselves as new blood rises up the ranks. Here are five of them: ambitious, global thinking, tech-savvy and passionate.

GABBY BORTOLOT
AGENT, PROXY
“I’ve always been interest- ed in music, going to lots of gigs,” Gabby Bortolot said. While at college, when Melbourne venues closed for pandemic restrictions, she set up a 36-page music magazine, “Forever West Zine,” to write about the city’s music scene.
In 2022 she joined Untitled Group as assistant to the managing director, and worked with acts such as X CLUB., SG Lewis, jamesjamesjames, and Nina Las Vegas.
In 2025 she was promoted to agent at Untitled’s agency Proxy, unearthing new underground acts and representing talent includ- ing Sam Alfred, Shampain, Crÿbaby and Aya Gloomy.
Bortolot is a member of the 2025 BIGSOUND Electronic Music Advisory Group and co-founder of underground rap and dance Rude Baby Records.

BRIEAHNA CHADEVSKI
MARKETING EXECUTIVE, QUDOS BANK ARENA
Sydney-based Brieahna Chadevski’s bold marketing strategies include on-camera social media posts.
Putting fans at the heart of the story and exuding the joy of live experience, Qudos Bank Arena’s following grew by over 111,000 and marked her as an exceptional new talent at ASM Global.
“My work at Qudos Bank Arena has allowed me to assist in organising events for some of my favourite artists,” she stated.
Gaining a Bachelor of Entertainment Management, Chadevski interned at events and marketing team at Home The Venue, and the media buying and planning team at Universal Music where she was offered a full time role.

NIC TEPPER
PROJECT MANAGER, INTERNATIONAL CONCERTS & TOURING, HANDSOME TOURS
Hailing from Los Angeles, Nic Tepper started at ICM Partners helping to coordinate global tours for Nicki Minaj, J. Cole, Kehlani and D’Angelo.
He moved to Sydney to join WME’s live music department, where he worked across Asia Pacific tours for artists including Dua Lipa, Lewis Capaldi and Angus & Julia Stone.
After a stint in Berlin immersing himself in Europe’s electronic dance market, he returned to Australia and joined Handsome Tours, working notably on Fred again..’s breakthrough tour.
Now a promoter, Tepper works with artists as Matt Maltese, bbno$, Joey Valence & Brae, Ezra Collective, Pale Jay and Fcukers.

EMILY JONES
MARKETING MANAGER, VENUESWEST
Based in Perth, Emily Jones’ marketing skills were recognised by winning Young Achiever of the Year at this year’s Venue Management Association’s awards in Sydney.
Under her guidance, the marketing team delivered two major venue rebrands at Perth HPC and Arena Joondalup.
In addition, Venues- West made a strategic investment in bringing NRL (National Rugby League) games to Western Australia, a move designed to support the bid for a WA-based team, called the Perth Bears.
“I’m more excited than ever about the future of this industry,” Jones posted.

JUDITH VEITH
EVENTS MANAGER, PALAIS THEATRE
In the past three years, Judith Veith rose from event coordinator to event manager.
The Palais Theatre, with seating of nearly 3,000, is in Melbourne’s bayside creative hub of St. Kilda.
A movie theatre in the late 1920s, today it is operated by Live Nation covering music, comedy, theatre and community events.
LN reported, “Judith displays leadership skills and operates under a structured and disciplined approach when preparing for events, resulting in the successful delivery of hundreds of events.”
Veith also mobilised websites for the Palais as well as other LN properties Festival Hall and Anita’s Theatre.
