Tate McRae enters LIVE75 as the “Hot Shot” artist of the week with the highest debut on the chart, ranked No. 16 based on box-office results from four shows during the North American leg of her “Miss Possessive Tour.” The Canadian singer began her year on the road in March in Latin America with European shows following during May and June, but the North American leg kicked off in early August.
The first three concerts, booked at arenas in her home country, included a sold-out event on Aug. 9 at Winnipeg, Manitoba’s Canada Life Centre, attended by 11,719 fans. And in Ottawa, Ontario, she sold 13,362 tickets for an Aug. 22 performance at Canadian Tire Centre. Then, the trek through U.S. cities began with a performance at Grand Casino Arena in St. Paul, Minnesota, Aug. 13, but her first reported U.S. shows were in New York City at Madison Square Garden. She played for 27,651 fans during both performances at the Manhattan arena, grossing $3.5 million on Sep. 3 and 4. Her combined ticket count from all four Live Nation-produced concerts totals 52,732 for an average of 13,183 tickets sold per show.
McRae launched the world tour, her first as an arena headliner, on March 18 at Mexico City’s Pepsi Center WTC with a crowd of 5,982 in attendance, but she followed the opener with a string of festival appearances in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Brazil. Her first event in Europe was a May 7 concert in Lisbon, Portugal at MEO Arena with 12,650 tickets sold. Then, through June 25 and a final European show held at Co-op Live in Manchester, England, she sold a total of 342,089 tickets at 22 arenas, grossing $26.3 million from 25 performances. Co-op Live, Dublin’s 3Arena and The O2 Arena in London each hosted the “Miss Possessive Tour” for two concerts.

My Chemical Romance averaged $8.14 million from four shows at three stadiums booked on the “Long Live The Black Parade” tour that ran from July 11 through Sep. 13 in the U.S. and Canada. Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles hosted the tour for shows on July 26 and 27, welcoming 87,431 fans over both nights, while August performances at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas and MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey moved 38,246 and 45,511 tickets, respectively. Box-office revenue from all four concerts totaled $32,566,568.
On the Artist Power Index, five headliners make their first appearance on the chart during the past quarter of the year, the highest ranked among them at No. 42. Eagles’ first appearance on the 50-position chart since May 9 follows the band’s return to their concert residency at Sphere in Las Vegas. Sellouts on Sep. 5 and 6, with 32,538 tickets sold, kicked off the fall run of the residency that is set to continue this year through Nov. 8.
Def Leppard also debuts on APX this week, landing at No. 45 on the strength of six performances, primarily at outdoor venues. Included are August state fair appearances in Springfield, Illinois and St. Paul, Minnesota. T-Pain also lands on the chart, earning the No. 47 ranking with his own fair appearances at Iowa State Fair in Des Moines and the OC Fair in Costa Mesa, California. The rapper also headlined a Sep. 4 performance at New York’s Radio City Music Hall, among other dates.
Finally, the 49th ranking on the Artist Power Index goes to Puerto Rican performer Anuel AA, currently on the road in the U.S. with his “Real Hasta La Muerte 2” tour with Blessd. Then, at No. 50, Kali Uchis debuts on the chart following the launch of “The Sincerely, Tour” at Portland’s Moda Center on Aug. 14.
