Latin Country Singer MŌRIAH To Perform At Grand Ole Opry

MŌRIAH can cross off one more accomplishment from her bucket list. The Latin country singer will be performing at the Grand Ole Opry, an iconic institution in Nashville, on Sept. 26.
The Mexican American singer released her latest single, “Superwoman,” in July and will drop her debut Latin country EP later this year. She is part of a new generation of artists who have eliminated any barriers between Latin and country, joining artists like Carín León in merging the two genres and celebrating their similar cultures and histories.
“Being invited in sometimes feels like the surest sign the songs are landing where they’re meant to,” MŌRIAH said in a statement. “Nashville, the country family, and now the Opry, have made me feel at home in a way I’ll never take for granted. I’ve sat in those pews plenty of nights and watched countless shows online, always amazed at how this stage gives songs a chance to be heard far beyond these walls.”
MŌRIAH recently debuted as a TEDx Nashville speaker and also performed during the NARAS Nashville Chapter’s annual Block Party. She graced CMA Fest’s Hard Rock stage in June and also performed the national anthem before the boxing match between Jake Paul and Julio César Chávez.
Tickets to see the Los Angeles native, who now lives in Nashville, are now on sale at opry.com.
