Michael Shannon & Jason Narducy And Friends Announce 2026 Tour Celebrating 40th Anniversary of R.E.M.’s ‘Lifes Rich Pageant’

Michael Shannon & Jason Narducy And Friends will tour U.S. clubs and theaters next spring in celebration of the 40th anniversary R.E.M.’s seminal album Lifes Rich Pageant.

The tour follows a celebrated run earlier this year commemorating the 40th anniversary of R.E.M.’s Fables of the Reconstruction, which culminated with the four original members of R.E.M. joining Shannon and Narducy onstage for two shows in the band’s hometown of Athens, Georgia.

The Lifes Rich Pageant shows begin Feb. 11 at the Summit in Denver and include a double at Athens’ 40 Watt, in addition to shows at LA’s Bellwether, the 9:30 Club in Washington, Brooklyn Steel and more, wrapping March 16 at the Bluebird in Bloomington, Indiana.

Tickets go on-sale at 10 a.m. local Sept. 19.

Shannon — an award-winning actor — and Narducy — who has toured with Bob Mould, Sunny Day Real Estate, Superchunk and more — have collaborated for more than a dozen years, playing full albums by their favorite artists, first at clubs at Chicago before touring nationally.

Their Fables show at the 9:30 Club in March was a 1,184-ticket sellout, grossing $41,440, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports.
