TOOL Returns to New Zealand This Fall

Rock juggernaut TOOL makes their return to New Zealand this fall with the announcement of an exclusive Auckland headline show at Spark Arena on Nov. 22. Renowned for their musicianship, visuals and powerful live stage-work, this marks the bands first performance in the country in five years.
Formed in 1990, TOOL– Danny Carey (drums), Justin Chancellor (bass), Adam Jones (guitar) and Maynard James Keenan (vocals) – are one of the most renowned heavy bands with five studio albums to date – Undertow (1993), Ænima (1996), Lateralus (2001),10,000 Days (2006) and their latest release, Fear Inoculum (2019). The recent release debuted at No. 1 in New Zealand, the band’s third consecutive No. 1 in the country.
TOOL have been on the road in 2025, including performing their first ever set at Lollapalooza Argentina in March, joining the festival also in Chile and Brazil. In July, they also paid tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, joining the late rocker onstage at Black Sabbath’s final reunion show.
Tickets for the Auckland date go on sale Sept. 22 (12:00 PM/NZST). Presented by Frontier Turing and The Rock, a pre-sale for Frontier members begins Sept. 18 (12:00 PM/NZST).
