From The Team Behind Afro Nation: Afrotronic To Land In Tenerife, Canary Islands This Year

Afrotronic, the newest festival from the team behind Afro Nation and Piano People, is set to land in South Tenerife, the largest of Spain’s Canary Islands off the coast of West Africa, Oct. 3–5, 2025.
Afrotronic promises to bring together “leading curators of Afro House, Afro Tech, Amapiano, and percussive electronic sounds to one of Europe’s most stunning island destinations,” according to the initial announcement.
Born from the Afro Nation universe created by The Malachite Group, Afrotronic follows a sold out 5th anniversary Afro Nation Portugal in July, and a sold out Piano People in the Park festival in London in August, “the biggest Piano People event Europe has ever seen,” according to the promoters.
The three-day Afrotronic premiere will be “dedicated entirely to African Dance Music, showcasing the genres, artists, and communities shaping the sound of the future” in the scenic surroundings of Tenerife: open-air dancefloors, beach clubs, pool parties, and more, serving as stages for world-class DJs, artists, and sound systems who will make guests dance against a backdrop of golden beaches, volcanic landscapes, and year-round sunshine.
The confirmed lineup for the Afrotronic premiere includes Shimza, with his pioneering Afro House brand Kunye; Major League DJz; and Francis Mercier, alongside the powerhouse collective Everyday People. Joining them are boundary-pushing artists including Dennis Ferrer, Culoe De Song, Cleido, Darque DBN Gogo, DJammin, DJ Moma, Dlala Thukzin, FS Green, Honeyluv, Jael, Kitty Amor, Kilimanjaro b2b Melé, Oscar Mbo, Rosey Gold and Stoffela.
Tenerife’s culinary scene, pristine shores, and natural beauty offer plenty to look forward to beyond the music.
Tickets are on sale starting at £99 ($135) for day tickets, and £289 ($394) for weekend tickets, with various full-package options including accommodation and travel assistance available, as well.
