Girls Just Wanna Weekend Returning For 7th Edition With The Chicks, Brandi Carlile & Sam Smith Headlining

Brandi Carlile’s Girls Just Wanna Weekend event will return in 2026 and feature The Chicks and Sam Smith as headliners along with Carlile.

The five-day event produced by 100x Hospitality takes place Jan. 15-19 at Mexico’s Barceló Maya Resort and delivers an all-inclusive experience to music fans in a tropical setting along the Mexican Caribbean.

Other artists on the bill for the 7^th edition of Girls Just Wanna Weekend include CMAT, Joy Oladokun, Jensen McRae, Lucius, Jasmine.4.t, Allison Ponthier, SistaStrings, Autumn Nichols, Arroba Nat, The Carlile Family Band, The Marshgrass Mamas and comedian Kristin Key.

There will be a set titled Titans of Americana, and the special guests slated to perform will be announced later.

Event packages are now available on the event website, girlsjustwannaweekend.com, and they include premium resort accommodations, access to the concerts, airfare, unlimited food and beverage, daily pool parties, artist-curated activities and access to off-site excursions.

Carlile founded Girls Just Wanna Weekend in 2018 and has welcomed artists like Janelle Monae, Shania Twain, Sheryl Crow, Indigo Girls, Sarah McLachlan, Muna, Tanya Tucker, Maren Morris and Sara Bareilles over the past seven years. The event is promoted as a “safe and inclusive space” for everyone, “with a special emphasis on fostering a welcoming environment for the predominantly LGBTQ+ audience.”
