Following news earlier this week that law enforcement had identified the body of a 15-year-old girl found in a Tesla registered to d4vd, the remaining two U.S. dates on the 20-year-old singer/songwriter’s “Withered World Tour” have been canceled, along with European shows scheduled to start in early October.

As previously reported, the victim, named Celeste Rivas, had reportedly been missing for over a year. News broke last week that a body was found in d4vd’s vehicle that was impounded at a Los Angeles tow yard, according to NBC Los Angeles. The Tesla was impounded after it had reportedly been abandoned in the Hollywood Hills for more than a month. NBC News reported last week that identification of the victim was delayed because the “remains were not intact.” On Wednesday authorities identified the victim and d4vd’s show scheduled that evening at Seattle’s Showbox SoDo was canceled, per a message on the venue’s website.

Now, the final U.S. “Withered World Tour” dates – booked at San Francisco’s The Warfield on Sept. 19 and Sept. 20 at Los Angeles’ The Greek Theatre – have also been called off. As of post time, all of the “Withered World Tour” dates are still listed on the alt-R&B/indie pop singer’s website, but when you click the individual links, the U.S. and European shows, scheduled through Nov. 4, are listed as canceled on the venue and ticketing sites. Most just say canceled; some like the d4vd concert at 3Olympia Theatre in Dublin say the show “is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. Refunds will be issued at point of purchase.” Other links lead to a 404 error message. A handful of Australia dates scheduled in early December, including a Dec. 8 show at the Sydney Opera House, appear to still be on sale.

Rolling Stone points out that the deluxe edition of d4vd’s debut album – Withered Deluxe: Marcescence – was not released as planned today, Sept. 19. It was due out via Interscope Records, and is not available on streaming platforms.

On Wednesday Los Angeles police searched a Hollywood Hills mansion that d4vd (whose real name is David Anthony Burke) had been staying. The house was leased by the singer’s manager Josh Marshall, according to Rolling Stone

NBC Los Angeles reports that Rivas’ case is being treated as a death investigation. D4vd has not been named a suspect.

“At this time, the LAPD does not have a crime classification from the coroner as to the mode or manner of death,” the agency said in a quote, per NBC Los Angeles. “Thus, we do not have any suspect information at this time.”

A spokesperson for d4vd released a statement last week while he continued touring: “D4vd has been informed about what’s happened. And, although he is still out on tour, he is fully cooperating with the authorities.”

Pollstar has reached out to the publicist for d4vd, as well as his booking agency, Wasserman Music, for comment.

Wasserman Music is the exclusive booking agency for d4vd worldwide and his agents are Brent Smith, Len Chenfeld and Lauren Marker.
