Puerto Rico’s biggest live music event also happens to be Amazon Music’s most successful.

Bad Bunny added one more night to his groundbreaking residency at Coliseo de Puerto Rico in Hato Rey for “No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí: Una Más,” a special finale that was livestreamed Sept. 20 on Amazon’s platforms, which include Amazon Music, Prime Video and Twitch, and the Latin mega star set yet another milestone in his remarkable career. The streaming giant revealed that its exclusive livestream of Bad Bunny’s final show “shattered” livestreaming records for the streaming giant, which also happens to broadcast major events like Stagecoach, Primavera Sound and Outside Lands as well as performances from notable artists through its Amazon Music Live series.

The show was available for fans through Sunday evening and broke all viewership records for Amazon Music, marking a watershed moment for the company and Latin music. Bad Bunny went all out for the residency finale, having Marc Anthony as a special guest and showing viewers the rich cultural history of Puerto Rico through his production and music.

The global superstar shared a positive message toward the end of his energetic, passionate performance, urging fans to live in the moment and appreciate the people around them because “no one knows what’s going to happen tomorrow, so don’t worry about much about what’s going to happen. It’s best to focus on today.”

“Thank you, Puerto Rico, for making me and converting me into everything you all wanted me to be. I have always been the same, with the same heart, with the same passion, with the same love for what I’m doing, and I promise I will never change,” Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, said. “I love you, Puerto Rico. I love you, Mom and Dad. … It doesn’t matter what the situation is, it doesn’t matter what your problem is, out of all of the options, love will always be the best, believe me.”

The Puerto Rican singer partnered with Amazon to not only livestream the event but also to launch several initiatives to develop programs, technology resources and enrich STEM curriculum in his homeland.

Bad Bunny’s 31-date residency, which was promoted by Noah Assad of Rimas Entertainment and Move Concerts, was a massive success, moving nearly half a million tickets and selling about 80,000 hotel packages to help boost the local economy.

The global superstar will continue to celebrate his heritage across Latin America, Japan, Australia and Europe for his “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS World Tour,” which sold over 2.6 million tickets and runs from December through July 2026.

Bad Bunny is an influential force in the industry. His “World’s Hottest Tour” shattered records and made him one of the most successful live acts of all time, and his sold-out “Most Wanted Tour” in 2024 was No. 7 on Pollstar’s Top 200 Worldwide Touring Acts with a $210.9 million gross, earning him the Latin Tour of the Year at this year’s Pollstar Awards.

The Puerto Rican standout is repped by United Talent Agency’s Jbeau Lewis and David Zedeck in North America and UTA’s Carlos Abreu in other territories. Noah Assad of Rimas Entertainment is Bad Bunny’s manager.
