Soul Coughing’s Reunion Continues With December Dates

Soul Coughing original members Mark degli Antoni (keyboards/sampler), Mike Doughty (vocals/guitar), Yuval Gabay (drums) and Sebastian Steinberg (bass) have made plans to hit the road once again as they continue the reunion that began in September 2024.
The “Soul Coughing Still Loves You” tour is scheduled in seven cities throughout the U.S., starting with a Dec. 5 gig at Columbus, Ohio’s Newport Music Hall. Stops include Indianapolis; Covington, Kentucky; Omaha, Nebraska; Des Moines, Iowa; Chicago (with a venue yet to be announced); Madison, Wisconsin; and Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The band burst onto the music scene in 1992 and then split in 2000, leaving behind three full-length albums and a fanbase that adored their blend of drum & bass, trance, rock ‘n’ roll, and hip-hop. The upcoming tour will feature a setlist with songs spanning their catalog including 1994’s Ruby Vroom, 1996’s Irresistible Bliss, and 1998’s El Oso.

Following last fall’s initial reunion tour, Soul Coughing played a run of shows across North America in the spring. The group has also released its first-ever official live album, LIVE 2024, available now at all DSPs and streaming services and on Double LP vinyl exclusively via soulcoughingstore.com.
Soul Coughing’s reunion has earned praise with reviews including Variety declaring “The songs sounded as forward-thinking as they did in the ’90s. For those that care, every one of these shows…just might be one of the best nights ever.”
Artist Presales are ongoing now, with VIP packages available. Local Presales begin Wednesday, Sept. 24 and Thursday, Sept. 25 at 10:00 am local time.. All remaining tickets will be released to the general public on Friday, Sept. 26 at 10:00 am.
Reports submitted to Pollstar Boxoffice for Soul Coughing’s reunion tour include a Sept. 25, 2024, show at Chicago’s Riviera Theatre that sold 2,546 tickets and grossed $121,007. The show as promoted by Jam Productions.
Soul Coughing is represented by High Road Touring’s Frank Riley and David Rowan. The band is managed by 7S Management’s Chris Tetzeli and Nate Meese.
