John Mulaney Brings ‘Mister Whatever’ To Wrigley Field

Emmy Award-winning comedian John Mulaney will bring his “Mister Whatever” tour to the friendly confines of Wrigley Field in his native Chicago on July 11. The show is being billed as a milestone as Mulaney is set to become the only comedian to headline a concert at the home of the Chicago Cubs.
Mulaney announced the news during last night’s telecast of the Cubs vs. Mets after leading “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” during the 7th inning stretch.
The 2026 stadium date builds on Mulaney’s “Mister Whatever” tour that launched in 2025 and puts Mulaney in an exclusive class of comics to do stadium-sized concerts, like Gabriel Iglesias who played Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles in 2022, which sold 53,492 tickets and grossed $3.6 million as reported to Pollstar, while Nate Bargatze continues his red-hot touring with multiple shows in many markets putting him into the stadium-sized capacity.
Tickets for Mulaney’s Wrigley performance are available. Concerts to take place at the stadium this summer include Chris Brown, Ateez, Stray Kids and Post Malone.
