Zach Bryan Makes History With Largest US Ticketed Show At Michigan Stadium

The first-ever concert at the University of Michigan’s famed “Big House” in Ann Arbor called for a big show, and Zach Bryan delivered just that. The country superstar made history at Michigan Stadium on Sept. 27, performing in front of 112,408 fans, making it the largest ticketed concert in the country.

Bryan capped his impressive 2025 stadium run by becoming the first artist to perform at the historic Michigan venue, which is hallowed ground in the world of college football and has only hosted sporting events, including hockey and soccer matches. AEG Presents promoted the record-setting concert.
The singer, who had John Mayer as a special guest and support from Ryan Bingham and The Texas Gentlemen and Joshua Slone, also set a merchandise sales record with $5 million.
The previous record holder for the highest attended concert in the U.S. was George Strait, whose show at Texas A&M’s Kyle Field in College Station on June 15, 2024, sold 110,905 tickets and grossed $25,691,650, according to Pollstar Boxoffice.
Seth Seigle of WME, the agency that books the artist, recently talked to Pollstar about the opportunity to make history with Bryan, saying that it took a lot of careful planning.
“The people who get to work closely with Zach were really methodical, and our management and production team and promoter partners were instrumental in achieving this because it presented some good challenges,” Seigle told Pollstar. “It’s an iconic football stadium, and as I said, we’re trying to present an iconic artist, and it just takes some work to find a path. But when we surround ourselves with great teammates that we have at the agency, with management and a great partner in the artist, it’s evident what can happen.”
Bryan’s tour in 2025 included a three-night stand at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey and a concert at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Indiana.
