Green Man Tickets Snatched Up

Green Man, one of the few remaining independent major festivals in the UK, has once again sold out in just over an hour. That’s 25,000 weekend tickets sold without any lineup or other program items announced.

Over its 24-year history, Green Man – the mythological figure representing nature, sustainability, good food and a bit of mischief – has become a lot more than just a music festival. Today, the Green Man experience spans music, comedy, literature, film, performance and installation art, wellness, science, across 16 stages, as well as specific arenas for both children and teens, a wellness area, and its own Welsh Beer festival in the Courtyard.

Next year’s edition returns to the Black Mountains in the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park in Wales, Aug. 20-23, 2026.

Fiona Stewart, owner and managing director of Green Man, commented, “Diolch yn fawr to the loveliest audience in the universe, we can’t wait to see your faces in a Welsh field when you join us for Green Man 2026, Cariad Mawr.”

There’s the option to join a waiting list for Green Man tickets which may become available via the festival’s resale agent of choice, Tixel.

Parookaville Reworks Camping

Another EDM mega event launching its second decade next year is Parookaville in Germany. Scheduled to return to Weeze Airport, July 17-19, the festival’s most popular campsite categories have received a makeover “featuring a clearer structure, expanded new options and greater capacities to accommodate increased demand,” according to a press release.

Every edition of Parookaville has sold out in advance up to now – the daily capacity is around 75,000 – and the eleventh edition is unlikely to break with that tradition.

Bernd Dicks, co-founder and managing director of Parookaville GmbH, commented, “Ever since Parookaville was founded, we have been dedicated to effectively developing the festival further on behalf of our citizens and their wishes and comments. For many of them, Parookaville is a highlight every year that they plan and look forward to together, especially the five days of camping. This is why we and the entire team have worked hard to offer them greater choice and comfort. The new, custom-designed districts and villages will enable everyone to enjoy an even friendlier, more comfortable, greener and wilder camping experience!”

The campsite’s three areas comprising a total of 800,000 square meters will be known as the Camping District, Glamping District and Caravan District. In the Camping District, the previous categories of Base Camp, Green Camp, Friendship Camp and Easy Camp will be divided into new villages beginning in 2026.

The popular Base Camp will be rechristened as the Base Village next year. The Base Village is and will remain the classic campsite option with its huge party community. For anyone interested in avoiding unnecessary rubbish and looking for a quieter camping environment, next year will see the expanded development of the Green Village (formerly Green Camp), featuring the strictest nightly noise regulations of all campsites.

The organizers are also ramping up their focus on sustainability: For the first time, the Green Village tickets will include a free shuttle ticket from Weeze Train Station to the festival site. This allows to eliminate the need for a separate parking area and entrance for this village.

There’s areas for those using their own camping equipment, a Friends Village for groups of 8 to 16 people, who require lots of space, pre-built tents in Easy Village, as well as the redesigned Glamping and Caravan Districts.

Tickets for Parookaville 2026 go on sale Oct. 5. Full weekend tickets excluding camping start at €269 ($316), with day tickets starting at at €109 ($128).
