Rush Expand ‘Fifty Something Tour’ With 11 New Dates

Rush is celebrating 50 years as a band, and Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson have added new dates to their upcoming tour honoring the momentous occasion and their late band member, Neil Peart. After announcing the tour earlier this week, Rush has added 11 new shows to their upcoming run, which kicks off June 7 at Kia Forum in Los Angeles and wraps on Sept. 19 in Cleveland at Rocket Arena.
Rush is booked in North America by Dennis Arfa and Adam Kornfeld at IAG and managed world wide by Q Prime.
“It’s been over 10 years since Alex and I have performed the music of Rush alongside our fallen bandmate and friend, Neil,” Geddy Lee said in a statement. “A lifetime’s worth of songs that we had put our cumulative hearts and souls into writing, recording and playing together onstage. And so, after all that has gone down since that last show, Alex and I have done some serious soul searching and come to the decision that we fucking miss it, and that it’s time for a celebration of 50-something years of Rush music. So in 2026 my BFF Lerxst (aka Alex Lifeson) and I are going to hit the road once again to pay tribute to our past and to Neil by performing a vast selection of Rush songs in a handful of cities. No small taks, because as we all know Neil was irreplaceable.”
Joining Geddy Lee and Lifeson on tour in place of Peart is Anika Nilles, who will sit behind the drum kit. Rush is managed by SRO Management and booked by UTA’s Neil Warnock. With 379 headline reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice dating back since 2002, the band has sold 3.8 million tickets, grossing $254.7 million. On average, Rush sells 10,089 tickets per show, grossing $672,169.
The tour lands in seven cities including Los Angeles, , Mexico City, Fort Worth, Texas, Chicago, New York City, Toronto and Cleveland. Tickets go on sale Oct. 17 at 12 p.m. local time.
