Twice Expands ‘<This Is For> World Tour’

K-pop group TWICE announced 10 additional dates to their upcoming “<THIS IS FOR> World Tour” across North America, Europe and the UK, with second shows added to previously announced cities including Vancouver, Seattle, Dallas, Chicago, Austin, Paris and Amsterdam. UBS Arena in Belmont, New York, and the Kia Forum in Los Angeles will now host three and four shows, respectively. TWICE also announced they’ll be performing in Turin, Italy, at Inalpi Arena on May 20.
Since the onsale began last week, TWICE has added 17 new dates total, including expanded shows in Oakland, California, Washington, D.C., Hamilton, Ontario, and more.
TWICE will perform in-the-round in a 360-degree stage. Their North American leg kicks off on Jan. 9 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver and runs through April 18 at Austin’s Moody Center. On May 9, the K-pop group kicks off their European leg at MEO Arena in Lisbon, wrapping up their tour on June 4 at The O2 in London.
TWICE released their fourth studio album, This Is For, which debuted in the top 10 on the Billboard 200. The girl group also contributed to the soundtrack for Netflix’s recent hit, “K-Pop Demon Hunters.”
With 24 headline reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice, TWICE has sold a total of 671,888 tickets, grossing $93.8 million. On average, the K-pop girl group sells 27,995 tickets, grossing $3.9 million.
Tickets for the newly announced North American dates go on sale Oct. 16 at 3 p.m. local time. European tickets will go on sale Oct. 16 at 10 a.m. local time. Remaining tickets for previously announced shows are on sale now.
