Dropkick Murphys have lots to celebrate with the routing unveiled for the band’s “2026 For The People…In The Pit St. Patrick’s Day Tour” including hometown shows in Boston marking the band’s 30th birthday.

The tour goes along with the Celtic punk band’s latest album, For The People, which was released in July on Dummy Luck Records. An announcement from the group’s team notes that “For The People shows courage and confidence, speaking up against the injustices happening in the United States, and does so with the strength and power that harkens back to Dropkick Murphys’ earliest punk rock roots. For The People is more than a title. It’s a heartfelt stance, a declaration of who this band is–and who they’ve always been.”

Dropkick Murphys have continued to advocate for workers’ rights and human rights by making surprise appearances at many picket lines across the U.S. to support unions fighting for fair wages and better contracts.

The 2026 tour – which features support from The Aggrolites and Haywire on most dates – starts Feb. 9 in the State Theatre in Portland, Maine, and wraps up with a run of hometown shows with four gigs at Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway March 13-15 (including a matinee show on March 14) and a March 17 performance at Citizens House Of Blues. The matinee event is described a special family-friendly afternoon mini-concert and meet & greet, with each adult ticket buyer able to bring two kids under 13 for free. This event, which starts at 2 p.m., benefits the band’s charitable foundation, The Claddagh Fund.

A presale for the trek starts Wednesday at 10 a.m. local time. Fans can sign up at DropkickMurphys.com/tour

The general onsale starts Friday, October 17 at 10 a.m. local time at DropkickMurphys.com. Tickets for the previously announced Boston dates are on sale now.

Dropkick Murphy is managed by Cast Management’ Jeff Castelaz, Sean Dore, Chris Phillips and Benton Oliver. The band’s North America agents are Wasserman Music’ Marty Diamond and Larry Webman.

Recent reports submitted to Pollstar Boxoffice for Dropkick Murphys include an Aug. 9 show with Bad Religion at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York that sold 3,318 tickets and grossed $187,180.
