Rüfüs Du Sol Win Best Live Act At 24th DJ Awards

The DJ Awards 2025 went down at ROTO Club in Ibiza, Spain, Oct. 9. The 24th edition of the ceremony once again celebrated the very best in electronic music culture.

The winners – some chosen by public vote, some by a jury – reflect the diversity of today’s dance music scene, from genre pioneers to newcomers redefining the sounds of now, and the inclusion of newly launched categories like Balearic and Hard Dance/Bounce shows the DJ Awards’ ongoing evolution.

Winners in the public vote, which counted more than 250,000 participating votes, include Rüfüs Du Sol (Best Live Act), Solomun (International DJ), Chase & Status (Drum & Bass), Girls Don’t Sync (Garage/Bassline), Miss Monique (Progressive/Melodic House), and more. Chosen by the jury were Yann Pissenem (Industry Executive Of The Year), Soundstorm Festival Riyadh as part of this year’s MENA spotlight, Simon Dunmore (Lifetime Achievement Award), and more. The DJ Awards prides itself on being independently organized, with support from partners including YouTube, Skiddle, and Suntory.

In response to the devastating floods in Ibiza, the DJ Awards have donated a portion of the event’s proceeds to the Spanish Red Cross (Creu Roja) to support recovery and aid efforts on the island.

Since its founding in 1998, the DJ Awards has been the longest-running international celebration of DJ culture, relaunching in 2024 after a four-year hiatus.

DJ Awards CEO Andy Grant commented, “It’s been incredible to see the DJ Awards come together once again for a second year since returning. This ceremony truly celebrates the heart of our culture, the artists who have inspired dance floors all around the world, and those in the industry who come together to make it all happen. What makes it even more special is that these accolades come directly from the public’s independent votes, honouring the DJs who’ve genuinely moved the people and dance floors this year.”

More than 250,000 public votes were counted leading to the below list of winners, followed by those chosen by the grand jury.
