The producers behind successful European touring formats “Rock Sensation”, and “Opera D’amore” have launched Global Stage Ltd., a new company focused on “producing and promoting immersive, high-impact touring shows,” according to the announcement.

The project is backed by a seven-figure investment from a private U.S. equity firm that preferred to remain undisclosed at the time of writing.

Rock Sensation is a high-energy, jukebox-style show that charts the history of rock music from the 1950s to the early 2000s. Backed by a live band, dancers, storytellers, and custom digital stage environments, the production delivers a theatrical experience for fans of all generations.

It was Rock Sensation that caught the U.S. investor’s attention, after successful touring runs in Belgium and the Netherlands.

The new investment will allow Rock Sensation to tour up to 50 dates per year, while the newly formed Global Stage Ltd. begins developing more original productions in a similar immersive style.

Opera D’amore, another Global Stage production, reimagines the opera experience, bringing together the world’s most iconic arias and duets in one evening. “The production features massive LED screens and cutting-edge interactive stage design, blending tradition with technology to create a dynamic visual world,” according to Global Stage’s official description.

Opera D’amore will have a limited run in 2026, with a few select dates alongside the Rock Sensation tour, Pollstar was told.

Both Rock Sensation and Opera D’amore target venues with a capacity of around 2,000 seats.

Global Stage also produces “José Carreras Encore,” a multimedia concert experience celebrating the tenor legend, featuring his favorite songs and a moving narrative about his life and career.

All shows are self-promoted, giving the company full creative control and a direct connection to its audiences. At this stage, performances are planned only in Europe, with a trial run in the UK and the US scheduled for 2027.

Global Stage has also partnered with George Leitner Productions (GLP) as its primary booking agency.

Commenting on the company’s launch backed by the seven-figure investment, Global Stage CEO Deyan Vassilev commented, “This is a huge opportunity for us. We’re now able to scale much faster, expand across Europe, and test new markets in the UK and U.S. Five years ago, Opera D’amore started as a small project with a promising concept. We continued with Rock Sensation, staying true to the highest standards of musical performance, while pushing boundaries with lights, screens, and immersive storytelling. This isn’t just funding, it’s fuel. We’ve proven the concept works. Now we’re going bigger, faster, and bringing our shows to entirely new audiences.”
