Rush Adds 17 Cities To ‘Fifty Something Tour’

Fans can’t get enough of iconic Canadian rock band Rush. Due to overwhelming demand, the Rock & Roll Hall of Famers added 17 North American cities to its “Fifty Something Tour,” which was initially announced as a seven-date trek.
Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson are hitting the road to celebrate more than 50 years of Rush music and honor their late bandmate, Neil Peart.
The routing now includes shows at Philadelphia’s Xfinity Mobile Arena, Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Montreal’s Ball Centre, Capital One Arena in D.C., Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, Rogers Arena in Vancouver and more.
The presale for the newly added shows begins Oct. 27 at noon local time. Fans have until Oct. 23 at 11:59 ET to sign up for presale access at livemu.sc/rush. The general onsale begins Oct. 31 at noon local time for the U.S. and Canada.
Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets beginning Oct. 24 at noon local time through Oct. 26 at 11:59 p.m. American Express cardmembers in Canada will also have access for Canadian shows during that same window.

In a video shared on social media, the band said that they “are blown away from the response to the announcement we made a few weeks ago that we’re going back on tour. I cannot tell you how surprising and overwhelmed we are and the way you guys have welcomed Anika Nilles. It’s been very heartwarming, and I know that she’s very appreciative of that. We’re even more excited to get back on stage and play with her and to go through the plethora of songs that we’re planning.”
The upcoming trek marks the first time Lee and Lifeson tour together since 2015. Nearly all of the initially announced shows have sold out, including four nights at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, and four more New York’s Madison Square Garden.
Throughout the tour, Lee and Lifeson will be accompanied by German drummer, composer and producer Anika Nilles, who worked as Jeff Beck’s drummer for 60 shows and has released four solo albums.
