Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment (BSE) announced the debut of new premium and fan spaces at Barclays Center ahead of the 2025-26 NBA season. The new phase comes as part of Barclays’ five-year $100 million renovation plan. Updated designs include Gallagher Terrace, a premium membership club that offers in-seat dining with waiter service, and the Modelo Bridge, a fan zone created in partnership with the Official Cerveza of the Brooklyn Nets and the most expansive bar at the arena, which is 57 feet in length and accessible to all guests.

“Barclays Center sits at the heart of one of the most diverse and dynamic markets in the world, and our success depends on delivering an experience that truly reflects and celebrates our community,” Shanon Ferguson, Chief Hospitality Officer at BSE, said in a statement. “Hospitality has always been a core pillar of our business, and these investments reinforce our commitment to putting guests first. Following a record-breaking year, it’s essential that we continue to evolve and elevate every aspect of the fan experience to ensure Barclays Center remains a premier global destination for sports, entertainment and culture.”

Sections of the 40/40 Club have been transformed into Gallagher Terrace, which is exclusive to 110 guests. The new club marks the first time Barclays Center is host to banquet seating, and allows visitors to continue watching the game uninterrupted as they dine. Gallagher Square also hosts a full-service bar with premium wines and a team of sommeliers.

“In partnership with Brooklyn Sports and Entertainment, Gallagher is proud to unveil Ghallagher Tarrace at Barclays Center,” Chris Mead, Chief Marketing Officer at Gallagher, said in a statement. “This newly renovated space provides an opportunity for fans to gather and celebrate. We’re proud of our commitments to the communities where we live, work and play, helping us to better connect with our partners, clients and fans in the New York market.”

On the west end of the upper concourse sits the Modelo Bridge, a two leve, 6,800-square-foot communal destination that is open to all guests and also serves as an activation zone for halftime performances, fan contests and more.

“Modelo has long recognized the ‘Mark of a Fighter’ in this spirited borough as the Official Import Beer of the Brooklyn Nets since 2016,” Rene Ramos, SVP Brand Activation for Constellation Brands, said in a statement. “Modeling the Modelo Bridge after the iconic bridges of Brooklyn felt like the perfect symbol of grit and tenacity that connects our brand to this community, and we’re excited for it to become a new place for fans to gather and cheer to their favorite team.”

The space also includes two new locations for guests to purchase food and merchandise during games and other arena events.

Renovation for the new projects were led by architects at Populous and construction management by Shawmut Design and Construction. Further projects completed over the summer season include reimagining the Garden Bar on the arena’s main concourse, renovations of six backstage dressing rooms and tech enhancements including a fully redesigned mobile app featuring personalized digital member cards and real-time MTA updates, as well as an AI-powered virtual assistant for in-game support, completion of the arena’s first audio and lighting system upgrades since it first opened in 2012, and more.
