ERNEST Expands ‘Live From The South Tour’

ERNEST Live LFTS

ERNEST has added another round of shows to his “Live From The South Tour” ahead of the North American trek’s January launch. The country singer/songwriter will be joined by up and coming artists Chandler Walters, Cody Lohden and Rhys Rutherford as opening support.

The tour kicks off Jan. 21 at Denver’s Mission Ballroom, with dates booked through late April. The new gigs are booked in Jackson Hole, Wyoming; Charlotte, North Carolina; Bettendorf, Iowa; Knoxville, Tennessee; Asheville, North Carolina; and Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The public onsale for the new dates starts Friday, Oct. 31 at 10 a.m. local. The previously announced dates are on sale now.

ERNEST, who has been called the “writer of hit songs and emerging star in his own right” by the New York Times and is a Grammy and 4x ACM Award nominee, has also lined up two nights headlining his hometown at the historic Ryman Auditorium Nov. 4-5. He is continuing to support his latest album, Nashville, Tennessee, which was released in April 2024 on Big Loud.

When the tour was initially announced in September, ERNEST wrote on Instagram, “The ‘Live From The South Tour’ is gonna be a night full of sounds from the south. Born and raised in Nashville Tennessee and a lover of the south land… even further south where I find so much inspiration in the Virgin Islands.

“This tour is gonna be so much fun playing some new music mixed with some of the favorites and also getting to share the stage with @codylohden @chandlerwaltersmusic @rhys_rutherford_ — proud of them and ready to see the fellas rocking.”

ERNEST is managed by Big Loud and his booking agency is The Neal Agency. He graced the cover of Pollstar in 2023.

Earlier this year ERNEST spent time touring in support of Lainey Wilson, as well as Old Dominion. Highlights from those runs include a Sept. 13 show supporting Wilson at Brookshire Grocery Arena in Bossier City, Louisiana, that sold 10,535 tickets and grossed $1.1 million, according to reports submitted to Pollstar Boxoffice.
