Breakout French DJ Maesic Signs With WME

Rising producer and DJ Maesic recently signed with WME for representation in all areas, and the team working with the French artist will be led by partner and veteran agent Steve Hogan, who helped develop the agency’s electronic music department.
Maesic, who was born in England and raised in France, broke out earlier this year with the hit single “Life Is Simple (Move Your Body)” featuring Marshall Jefferson and Salomé Das, which has garnered more than 54 million streams on Spotify. It was also the most searched song on Shazam in house music globally and went viral on TikTok and Instagram.
“I’m thrilled to be joining one of the most iconic agencies in the game, driving the music and dance scene forward with the legend himself, Steve Hogan,” Maesic said in a statement.
He is known for blending dance genres, including EDM, Afro House, tech-house and melodic techno.
“From the first time I watched him play at Exit Festival in the summer, I knew Maesic had something special about him – the more I asked about him, behind the scenes, the writers and producers came back with great feedback – he feels like the full package. We are all very excited about the future,” Hogan said.
Working with Hogan in booking and developing Maesic will be Laura Ruiz, who is based in London, and Ian Wilkerson, who is in Los Angeles.
“The moment I heard the music, I couldn’t turn it off,” Wilkerson said of Maesic. “There was an energy about it that felt next level. When Maesic’s on the decks, the crowd gravitates to his every move, which is something you just can’t teach. I’m extremely grateful to be a part of his musical journey ahead!”
Maesic recently performed with Diplo at the Marquee Skydeck at The Edge NYC. The European DJ is managed by Timothy Sheldon of Tronjour Management, and his signed to indie label Helix Records.
