Billie Eilish Donates $11.5 Million From ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft Tour’

Billie Eilish is donating $11.5 million from her tour grosses from the “Hit Me Hard And Soft” run across multiple organizations. The tour supporting her third studio album first kicked off on Sept. 29, 2024, at the Videotron Centre in Quebec City, and will continue until Nov. 23, where it will conclude at Chase Center in San Francisco.
From “Hit Me Hard And Soft,” 22 of the tour’s dates have been submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice, with a total of 543,224 tickets sold, grossing $82.3 million. On average, the tour sells 24,692 tickets per show, grossing $3.7 million each night. By the time the tour wraps up, Eilish will have performed 106 shows since first kicking off in Quebec City.
Eilish received The Wall Street Journal Magazine‘s Music Innovator of the Year Award, where it was revealed she would be donating $11.5 million from her tour earnings across multiple organizations to support food inequality and combat the climate crisis.
Throughout each stop on her tour, Eilish has invited Reverb to provide Eco Villages within each venue to educate concert-goers on ways to reduce their carbon footprints. She’s also encouraged each venue to provide plant-based offerings during her shows, with many venues opting to keep those items on the menu even after her performance.
“We’re in a time right now where the world is really, really bad and really dark and people need empathy and help more than, kind of, ever, especially in our country,” Eilish said during her acceptance speech. “I’d say if you have money, it would be great to use it for good things, maybe give it to some people that need it.”
