Creative Artists Agency has signed System of a Down in North America, making CAA the exclusive booking agency for the multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning band.

WME had previously booked System of a Down in North America.

The band – which has made a name for itself over nearly three decades for its political lyrics and fusion of metal, punk and Armenian folk influences – is comprised of Serj Tankian, Daron Malakian, Shavo Odadjian, and John Dolmayan.

System Of Down recently announced a run of European stadium dates for summer 2026 including two nights each at Stade de France in Paris, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London and PGE Narodowy in Warsaw, Poland. This follows the band’s six-date, sold-out stadium run in North America this summer and a sold-out stadium tour through Latin America earlier this year.

In October, System Of A Down announced they would be headlining the return of Sick New World in Las Vegas on April 25, 2026, along with Korn, as well as the expansion of the festival brand into Texas.

System Of A Down and Deftones top the lineup for the inaugural Sick New World Texas, which is set for Oct. 24, 2026, at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth.

Today’s announcement from CAA notes that System of A Down is curating Sick New World as its own festival brand and the agency “will continue to partner with the band to further build, curate, and operate these large-scale live projects.”

System of a Down has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide and generated billions of global streams, starting with its self-titled debut LP in 1998. The band’s most recent release is its fifth album, 2005’s Hypnotize. Each of the band’s albums debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200, with 2001’sToxicity and 2005’s Mezmerize hitting No. 1.

The band ended a 15-year hiatus from releasing new material with two singles in 2020, “Protect the Land” and “Genocidal Humanoidz.” CAA points out that the politically charged singles marked “a powerful reemergence and [reaffirmed] their place as one of rock’s most vital and fearless voices.”

System of a Down is managed by David “Beno” Benveniste and Mark Wakefield at Velvet Hammer Music and Management Group.

CAA’s other recent signings include Clipse and Pusha T, as well as Pierce The Veil.
