Third Annual Montreux Jazz Festival Miami Reveals Initial Line-Up Including Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Jon Batiste, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, TOTO And Bomba Estéreo

The lineup for the third annual Montreux Jazz Festival Miami has been announced including Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Nile Rodgers with his band CHIC; six-time Grammy-winning pop-rock band TOTO; Colombian electro-tropical innovators Bomba Estéreo; a special performance from Cuban percussionist/singer Pedrito Martinez; and French-Caribbean soul-funk bassist and singer Adi Oasis.
Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue led by multi-instrumentalist Troy Andrews and seven-time Grammy and Academy Award-winning singer, songwriter and composer Jon Batiste will also join forces for a New Orleans Celebration jam session with surprise guests to kick things off on Feb. 27.
The late night jams, hosted by festival co-founder and 2025 headliner Batiste, have become a popular fixture with artists such as Maxwell, Shania Twain and Will Smith – who have all made unannounced appearances. As the festival’s artistic director and co-founder, Batiste has helped shape the programming and creative vision from the very beginning, curating lineups that prioritize musical spontaneity and push boundaries.
“Montreux has always been about bringing people together through music and breaking down the walls between styles and cultures,” states Batiste in a release. “Bringing that energy to Miami has been such a joy. The city has its own rhythm and soul, and every night here feels alive in a way that’s completely unique. You never know what’s going to happen, and that’s what makes it so special.”
The three-day South Florida-style version of Montreux Jazz Festival takes place Feb. 27 to March 1 at The Hangar at Regatta Grove, an intimate 1,500-capacting venue in Coconut Grove. Additional performers and other special guests will be announced soon.
“Montreux has always been about creating moments that feel real and unrepeatable. Miami shares that same creative spirit, and each year the connection between the two feels stronger,” states Mathieu Jaton, CEO Montreux Jazz Festival. “This festival is about people coming together, discovering new sounds and celebrating the power of music to bring joy and unity.”
In 2025, Grammy-winning producer Emilio Estefan joined as an investor and co-owner in the event. A pillar of Miami’s music scene, Estefan brings invaluable vision and local connection to the Montreux brand. His involvement deepens the festival’s ties to the city’s rich cultural fabric and amplifies its mission to foster creativity across borders.
Single-day ticket prices for Montreux Jazz Festival Miami begin at $199, with VIP tickets at $599 and Legend tickets at $899.
